What is davg
This is the average response time in milliseconds per command being sent to the device
A value of 25 or more is not good.

Connect to your esxi host via ssh
Start esxtop
Press d for disk view
Also expand your ssh terminal to see more of the screen
This davg is the latency per the hba/ adaptor.
If you don’t see the above view:
Press f
Make sure abceg are selected
To view the davg per lun
Press u for the lun view
For this view
Press f
Select acgi
To see latency per your vm press v for vm view
It wont give you davg but you can see read and write latency
To get this view
Press f
Then select cefgh
